Īs a note, I didn't play on 120hz monitors yet, so I have no idea the difference a higher refresh rate can make. Great colors and no lag, so for gaming better then this only if you play mainly shooter's and want 120hz. On gaming -I played 2 hours in Bf4 multiplayer - I think it's perfect as a 60hz monitor can be.
I think the matte coating of the Acer monitor I had was a bit better but the colors. Nothing to worry about, since it's only from some positions, with black images, and that's not the usually place where the all-in-one is. The screen is matte but if viewing from some angles, I notice just a little reflection of my white all-in-one printer/scanner that was really really close to the monitor. this Eizo has a semi glossy coating, wich is the lightest matte coating.įrom what i've read they use a light matte coatting because with a good/heavy matte coating it's not possible to have good color reproduction.

I need further tests to have a more secure opinion about IPS glow, yesterday it was like this:ġ- Monitor don't have dead/stuck pixels nor light bleddingĢ- There isn't IPS glow if viewing in a front/normal positionģ- I saw a 1080p trailer of Avatar and 5 min of Life of Pi in high bitrate 1080p, and I was amazed with the colors/quality.Ĥ- Let's go testing this sh*t in Battlefield 4 :biggrin:Ībout anti-glare. IPS Glow I can notice in some positions where is expected glow appears - viewing by side with black pictures/darker images.
There is no dead/stuck pixels on my monitor, nor light bledding. When turned on I just changed to 'User 1' profile - default mode when new is 'eco' - set brightness and then checked for dead pixels and 'IPS Glow' or light bleeding, by viewing 5 or 6 full screen 'pictures' of only one colour.
